Flamenco de Leeds – Tangolé
Tangolé is an artistic project that offers a vision of Argentine folklore in flamenco code. It is a cultural melting pot where the Spanish guitar, flamenco voice, flamenco dance, and accordion compose the staging of the new project by Leo Power, Ignacio Lusardi, and Victor Ramos “El Chuli.”
Leo Power, a flamenco singer from Cadiz and a connoisseur of various musical cultures, felt the urge to bring Argentine folklore to life through a flamenco show. In London, she met Ignacio, an Argentine musician, producer, and flamenco enthusiast, and Victor, a flamenco dancer and musician from Málaga who also plays the accordion. With them, she was finally able to bring to life an idea that had been on her mind for years, Tangolé.
Born in Buenos Aires, Ignacio Lusardi Monteverde is a guitarist and music producer based in London. Collaborations with the British Museum, Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School, producing also a number of albums at the iconic Abbey Road Studios and has worked for six years in the Latin American Baroque Festival of Buenos Aires.

As soloist Flamenco dancer he has performed at various Flamenco tablao venues in the Barcelona and London Flamenco scene, including “Palacio del Flamenco” and “El Patio Andalúz”.
Leo Power is a singer and promoter from Cádiz’s La Viña neighbourhood, who has been in love with music since she was a child. At the age of 20, she began to sing her own songs and play the guitar. From this flamenco base, she became interested in other styles of world music: Cuban, Brazilian, African, Argentinean tango, rock, jazz and boleros.
