“Cádiz de Ida y Vuelta” is a flamenco show which presents different flamenco style and folklore with the characteristic flavour of Cadiz. As one of the birth places of flamenco, the Cadiz styles include Alegrias, tanguillos bulerias and chuflas. From the shared history of South American and Caribbean folk and flamenco arise the Cantes de Ida y vuelta (loosely translated as return trip songs). These are: Guajiras, Colombianas, Milongas, Rumbas and more recently the blend between flamenco, blues and jazz.

Leo Power is a flamenco singer from the Barrio de La Viña (Cádiz) in love with music from childhood. Aged 20, she began to sing her own songs and playing guitar. From this flamenco base, she became interested in other world music styles: Cuban, Brazilian, African, Argentinian Tango, rock, jazz and boleros. Over the last 28 years as a flamenco and flamenco-fusión singer, Leo has created her own unique style resulting in “Cádiz de Ida y vuelta”. A show where you can hear Alegrías de Cádiz as well as a classic jazz standard transformed into bulerias. With all this and her good vibe with musicians from a variety of styles she has created this unique show.
